ABOUT ME

I'm Ana. I have been an avid animal lover all my life. As a kid, I made it my duty to get to know every animal around me. I offered to walk every dog, cuddled every cat, fed seed to every duck, and even wanted to be a veterinarian. 

 

Pet sitting started out as a favor for friends here and there over 15 years ago, and now it is something fully integrated into my life. I have at least 30 rotating regular clients and am always taking on new ones. My business has thrived purely by word of mouth from happy pet parents. My animal clients range from bunnies to bernards, geckos to macaws, and kittens to Maine Coons. I also watch plants! 

 

Unlike arranging a favor, hiring me means hiring someone whose primary goal is the well-being, care, and love of your animals. I bond very quickly with creatures as if they're my own. This, along with lots of play, facilitates minimizing stress in your critters, which is my absolute, number one priority. I am also very attentive to details and requests, ensuring you come home to a clean house and happy pets.

Outside of pet sitting, I am a part-time nanny, a health educator, and a budding artist and photographer. I am also a volunteer at Oakland Animal Services offering specialized care in rabbits.
